We had the best morning at Aplaca Acres as a group of 9 adults. We went for the pig fishing experience but also got to meet the goats, guinea pigs and alpacas. Dawn is very knowledgeable and introduced us to all the animals. Many of them are rescued and are now living a wonderful life here. A wholesome morning well spent. What a great experience and fun hour. Greeted at the gate by Michelle and shown where to park and then straight into the animals. Shown around all the animals and a little history of them and their names. You can tell how well loved all the animals were. They were all so friendly. We opted for our time with the pigs and did they love a good scratch. Give their bellies a scratch and they'll just roll over for more! We purchased a few food buckets near the end of our visit and fed the goats, sheep and alpacas. They certainly loved the food!! Be prepared to be surrounded by the animals as they all want to be fed first! Would we visit again....without hesitation. Wife booked an hour's session for my Father's Day present and we had a great time. Very well run, chaperone was Karis (sorry for any misspelling!) and met all the animals who are uber friendly and opted to feed the Alpacas. We were greeted by Karis, who was friendly and so knowledgeable...she showed us around the different pens of guinea pigs, rabbits, pigs, whilst being followed by goats, chickens and ducks. It was so lovely, Karis gave us all their back history and of course knew all their names. You can tell that the animals are loved and well provided for, which is heart warming... Next we had our time in with the beautiful Alpacas. We bought some food and went into the pen, they immediately came up to us and nudged the bowls of food, it was magical.  You feel calm and because it's a private session,  at ease with them. The way the owners have organised the visits are perfect. Even the most nervous child/person will love this.
